StartOrganic is Holding a Free Produce-Share for Almaden Valley Residents

StartOrganic is holding its first community produce-share in Almaden Valley. StartOrganic will be passing out a gamut of homegrown produce from its own network of local gardens. You can also get information about how you can start or expand your own organic garden at home.

Participants will be sharing fruit, vegetables, homemade crafts, flowers, and much more. Skip the produce isle at the grocery store and save a little bit of money this month!

If you can’t make the produce-share, but would like to spread some of your homegrown goodies, please email Josh at Josh@StartOrganic.org to see if a pick-up / drop-off of your excess produce can be arranged. Don’t let it go to waste; share it with other Almaden Valley residents!

StartOrganic is a local Almaden Valley company that specializes in building and maintaining organic vegetable and herb gardens in the San Jose Area. They installed and currently maintain The Studio by Angi’s community herb and veggie garden.

The event will be held at Fontana Park on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 10am-12pm.
