Sign-up for Almaden Little League 2013 Spring Season – UPDATED 2022

Almaden Little League 2013 Spring SeasonSign-ups for the Almaden Little League 2013 spring season will take place on December 3rd and 4th this year. Parents can sign their children up for teams at the Almaden Golf and Country Club from 6pm to 8:30pm.

This league is available only to residents in the following zip codes: 95120, 95141, and 95042. All players must provide three proofs of residence. New players must provide an original or certified copy of their birth certificate.

Summer 2011 Junior Tennis Program at Almaden Country Club – UPDATED 2022

Nancy Ghantous Tennis is holding Junior Tennis Camp and Classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players this Summer. The program provides a positive and fun learning experience. Kids learn fundamentals and skills that last a lifetime.

The program is directed by USPTA / USPTR Tennis Professionals, Nancy Ghantous and a team of coaches. The program begins the week of June 6, 2011 and ends on August 12, 2011. You can sign-up your child for one or multiple weeks.

The program includes the following options:

Quick Start
Players are introduced to the game of tennis and develop eye-hand coordination. The equipment and courts are tailored to a child’s size and age so they develop their skills, learn rally, and have fun right from the start. For kids ages 6-10. Classes are held Monday-Friday, 9-10am. Price is $15 for 1 hour.

Strikers
This beginner-level program focuses on stroke refinement, and singles and doubles strategy and tactics in match play situation. For kids ages 6 and older. Classes are held Monday-Friday, 4-5pm. Price is $15 for 1 hour.

Smashers
This intermediate-level program focuses on stroke development, and tactics and match play. For kids ages 8 and older. Classes are held Monday-Wednesday, 5-6pm. Price is $15 for 1 hour.

Aces
This advanced-level program focuses on singles and doubles strategy and tactics, match play, and overall development as a tournament player. For kids ages 12 and older. Classes are held Monday-Wednesday, 6-7:30pm. Price is $20 for 1.5 hours.

Specialty Shots
This is an advanced-level program. For kids ages 12 and older. Classes are held on Friday, 5-6:30pm. Price is $20 for 1.5 hours.

Tennis Camp
Tennis camp for beginner and intermediate players. Classes are held Monday-Friday, 9-11am. Price is $35 for 2 hours.

Power in Purple’s 2011 St. Patrick’s Day Party – Fight Against Cancer Fundraiser – UPDATED 2022

photo: Power in PurplePower In Purple is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Party fundraiser event. All proceeds benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The party includes a traditional Irish dinner and no host bar, raffle and silent auction, and dancing and live music provided by The SilverBacks. Don’t miss it!

The party is at the Almaden Golf & Country Club on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 6:00pm – 12:00am. Tickets are $35 each. Purchase your tickets now.

Organized by Power in Purple, this event includes tasty treats for adults, hot chocolate and a special menu for children, cookie decorating, a holiday magic show and photos with Santa and a keepsake bear for children. Register for the Almaden Little League 2011 Baseball Season – UPDATED 2022

Almaden Little League is for players ages 4 through 18 years old, in T-Ball through Big League. A player’s age is determined as of April 30, 2011. More information about the league’s division levels. You can also sign-up to be a manager, coach, umpire, or volunteer.

Registration is at the Almaden Golf and Country Club on Monday, November 22, 2010 and Tuesday, November 23, 2010, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm each night. The price is $225 per player.

Sign your child up for Junior Tennis Classes or Junior Tennis Summer Camp. These programs are directed by USPTA / USPTR Tennis Pros, Nancy Ghantous and Coach Reggie. The programs emphasize tennis fundamentals and skills in a fun and positive learning environment.

Tennis classes and Summer camp are available for ten weeks, from June 7, 2010 through August 13, 2010. You can sign up for one week or as many weeks as you wish.
