The New Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum will be presenting a special event on Saturday, November 17th from 11am to 3pm. “Living History Day” will take place at the Casa Grande in New Almaden.

This spectacular home was once occupied by the managers of the New Almaden mine and its Victorian heritage has been maintained by the staff.

Casa Grande Yuletide Bazaar in New Almaden – UPDATED 2022

Casa Grande in New AlmadenCasa Grande at the New Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum will be offering a Yuletide Bazaar on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 10am to 4pm. Local artists and artisans will be selling their crafts and goodies – it’s a great place to pick up some unique holiday gifts for family and friends.

Almaden Quicksilver Park History Tour by Van

Almaden Quicksilver Park will be hosting a history tour by van on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 9am to 1:30pm. Adults and children (6 years and older, must weigh at least 60 pounds) alike will love the opportunity to step back in time and discover the area’s rich mining history on this tour.

Local Historians Presenting on the History of Quicksilver Mining in New Almaden – UPDATED 2022
