Almaden Valley Youth Soccer League (AVYSL) has brought back Project 40 Program. The program is designed to give AVYSL players the opportunity to further develop their soccer skills and understanding of the game.
The program has been developed and will be run by the UK International Training Staff. Players are grouped by age, and receive age-appropriate training followed by a scrimmage.
Volunteer coaches and parents of participating players are encouraged to assist the UK trainers during the sessions. Volunteers will be instructed by the UK staff so they can help train the players and bring what they learn back to team practices.
Project 40 Program is held at Simonds Elementary School on Sundays, September 12, 2010 – October 17, 2010. U7 – U9 players (born between August 1, 2001 and July 31, 2004) play from 3:30pm – 4:45pm (5pm – 6:15pm on September 12, 2010 to work around the photograph schedule). U10 – U12 players (born between August 1, 1998 and July 31, 2001) play from 5pm – 6:45pm. The Project 40 Program is $40 per player. You can register online.
