Join the San Jose Astronomical Association for Stories and Stargazing.
Enjoy stories about planets, stars, and space. After story time, go outside to the stargazing station telescopes to enjoy a dramatic view of the autumn sky.
Pumpkin Picking at the Park is a fun-filled day with activities for pre-schools and their parents to enjoy together. The morning starts with art activities at Almaden Community Center, followed by a guided tour of Emma Prusch Park.
Mad Science presents “Crazy Chemworks,” an eight week after school program for children in 1st-5th grade.
The program explores a variety of exciting chemistry experiments including glow-in-the-dark technology and things that cling. Get more information about each week’s experiments.
DV SPORTS is holding an after school flag football program in Almaden Valley for kids in 3rd through 5th grade (ages 8 and older). This program is focused on promoting exercise, fun, and teamwork.

Bring the entire family for a day of fun at the 5th Annual / 2011 Almaden Harvest Festival & Holiday Boutique.
Children will enjoy picking from the pumpkin patch, getting spooked in the scream-inducing Haunted House, making crafts, playing games, and being entertained with a holiday story time and puppet show.
The story time and puppet show are in the library at 11:30am, and repeated at 2:30pm. Children are invited to dress up in creative outfits and Halloween costumes.
Happy Birds is a fun and educational performing parrot show with over 25 amazing tricks and audience participation. Prepare to be entertained and amazed.
Their repertoire includes: impersonating animals, crying like a baby, riding a bike and skateboard, singing songs, playing basketball and bowling, flying tricks, and much more!
