South Bay Community Tennis Association’s After School Tennis Club in Almaden Valley – UPDATED 2022

Logo: South Bay Community Tennis AssociationSouth Bay Community Tennis Association is holding an After School Tennis Club for kids in 3rd through 5th grade. [EVENT IS CLOSED]

The program follows the new United States Tennis Association Quick Start format with age and skill appropriate balls, racquets, and court size.

This format has revolutionized the way Tennis is introduced to new players. By using the new progression tennis balls the game is slowed down and the ball is easier to control.

The mini portable nets and shortened court allow smaller players to play on a court more suitable for their size and speed. With little or no coaching a young player can develop the skills to rally the ball in minutes.

The program is on the blacktop at Williams Elementary School in Almaden Valley. The lessons are held on Thursday, April 7, 21, 28 and May 5, 12, 19, 2011 from 3:10-4:00pm.

The price is $84 per player, which includes a new racquet. If your child already has a racquet, the price is $72. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, March 31, 2011. You can register online.

If you have any questions, contact Sharon Lamond at 408-712-7361 or [email protected].
