Lord of the Light Art Studio & Gallery in Almaden Valley is holding its 2012 Summer Art Camp for kids in 1st – 12th grade. The studio has a unique camp curriculum that is designed to bring out and develop a child’s imagination and creativity, while teaching them the fundamentals of fine art.
The Summer Art Camp is a one-week, fun-filled learning experience that includes color theory, animation, and much more! Students will learn pencil drawing skills and how to use medias such as oil pastel, soft pastel, and watercolor. Your child will experience new freedom and a new love for art.

TechKnowHow’s special half-day camps include “Simple Bots: Remote-Controlled LEGO® Projects” and “Master Builders: Advanced LEGO® Building and Game Design.” Each class has five LEGO building projects, one per day. The camp offers entirely new projects and activities each year.
Children’s Day at History Park in San Jose included photos and trolley ride with Santa Claus, holiday arts and crafts for children, hand-operated cart on tracks, story times with the Snow Queen, and St. James AME Youth Choir. The day was enjoyed by all!

Lord of the Light Art Studio & Gallery in Almaden Valley offers a Weekly Art Program throughout the entire year, including the Summer months of June, July, and August. Students attend an average of four classes per month.
Light, Sight & Sound is being offered at Williams Elementary School in Almaden Valley. The program is on Tuesdays, January 3, 2012 through February 28, 2012 from 2-3pm. (No class on February 21, 2012.)

San Jose Parks Recreation & Neighborhood Services has released the Almaden Community Center Activity Guide for Winter 2012.
The Almaden Community Center Activity Guide includes all of the programs, classes, and activities planned for the Almaden Community Center in Winter 2012.
Kids will use craft paper, rubber stamps, stickers, die-cuts of holiday symbols, and more to create unique, handmade holiday cards for their friends, family, and relatives.
