TechKnowHow’s special half-day camps include “Simple Bots: Remote-Controlled LEGO® Projects” and “Master Builders: Advanced LEGO® Building and Game Design.” Each class has five LEGO building projects, one per day. The camp offers entirely new projects and activities each year.

Simple Bots: Remote-Controlled LEGO® Projects is for kids ages 5-7. The camp is June 18-22, 2012, 2-5pm. Extended care is available from school’s on-site provider.

Master Builders: Advanced LEGO® Building and Game Design is for kids ages 7-9. The camp is June 25-29, 2012, 2-5pm. Extended care is available from school’s on-site provider.

TechKnowHow classes enable students to learn technology skills while engaging in fun and interesting projects. Each day the students learn new skills and solidify those learned earlier in the camp. The atmosphere is supportive and fun.

Each class begins with a quick overview of key concepts. Students then begin working on their projects, with the teachers assisting them and answering their questions.

At appropriate stages of each project, students test the performance of what they are creating, while interacting with other campers and teachers.

Each camp is $200 per child for the week. Both camps are at Holy Spirit School in Almaden Valley. You can register online. For more information call Holy Spirit School at 408-268-0794. [EVENT IS CLOSED]
