The Stanford School of Medicine Eating Disorder Research Program will present a seminar on eating disorders in adolescents. The seminar will be at The Studio by Angi on Monday December 3, 2012 at 6:30pm. The topic of discussion will be: how to recognize signs and find solutions.
GIST (Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors) is a form of cancer that has no cure and affects thousands of Americans every year. The Walk for a Cure was started by a GIST patient in New York 12 years ago. On Sunday, October 21st from 10:30am to 2pm, residents of San Jose will have the opportunity to raise money for research, generate awareness and provide support for GIST patients and their caregivers.
