National Alliance on Mental Illness Meeting in Almaden Valley

National Alliance on Mental Illness is holding a meeting in Almaden Valley to provide information and resources about mental illnesses and their treatment.

Gain a better understanding of the early warning signs of mental illness. Learn about the experiences of parents raising a child with mental illness, and the experience of living with a mental illness from a personal perspective.

NAMI has been dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness since 1979. NAMI offers practical experience, support, education, comfort, and understanding to anyone concerned about mental illnesses and their treatment, primarily schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, clinical depression and OCD.

The meeting is at Leland High School on November 14, 2011 from 6:30-8pm.
