Reading to Furry Friends at Almaden Library
The San Jose Public Library’s Almaden Branch is hosting Reading to Furry Friends on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Children’s Area at 6445 Camden Ave., San Jose. Children ages 5 to 10 are invited to practice reading aloud to gentle, trained assistance dogs – and the dogs love every word of it!
The Almaden Library Reading to Furry Friends program is free and no registration is required. For questions or ADA accommodation requests, contact program coordinator Marie Sollitt at (408) 808-3040 or marie.sollitt@sjlibrary.org.
