Bring the entire family for a day of fun at the 5th Annual / 2011 Almaden Harvest Festival & Holiday Boutique.
Children will enjoy picking from the pumpkin patch, getting spooked in the scream-inducing Haunted House, making crafts, playing games, and being entertained with a holiday story time and puppet show.
The story time and puppet show are in the library at 11:30am, and repeated at 2:30pm. Children are invited to dress up in creative outfits and Halloween costumes.
Phil Ackerly, Master Magician, will debut his new Summer library show – Magic Around the World – here in Almaden Valley.
Kids will receive Phil’s PASSPORT to magic. Witness new tricks, illusions, and comedy that Phil has created especially for his Summer shows.
Performer and Educator Doug Nolan delights people of all ages with his Rock Steady Juggling and Eco-Tainment show.
Doug will wow you with his juggling virtuosity, comical antics, and audience participation – while sharing his passion for taking care of the Earth.
Ventriloquist, Steve Chaney, is coming to Almaden Valley with with The Corny Crow Show. Corny and Steve visit 50 libraries annually presenting a fun and entertaining program for all ages.
Access to Oddities is a hilarious and interactive one of a kind show. Magician Brian Scott combines magic, comedy, and pure fun that the whole family with enjoy.
Brian Scott has spent a lifetime being intrigued by the bizarre and strange world of magic, and has integrated into his show entertaining oddities from around the world. With these oddities, he creates an experience that allows the audience to not only see but also partake in these strange occurrences first-hand.
Brian Scott will have you laughing, scratching your head in wonder, and being just plain amazed. The show features baffling and comical magic, audience participation, and surprising mind-reading demonstrations that will have you rubbing your eyes in disbelief.
