Almaden Academy Math Mania, Money‐Smart Kids, and Funny Business Summer Camps – UPDATED 2022

Almaden Academy will be offering its Math Mania, Money‐Smart Kids, and Funny Business camps in Almaden Valley this Summer. [NOTE: EVENT IS CLOSED, AND LINK TO ALMADEN ACADEMY HAS EXPIRED]

Funny Business is an innovative and fun camp that teaches students about the business world, teamwork, design, marketing, and budgeting through a product life cycle simulation. Students have a blast generating product ideas, forming teams (companies), obtaining funding, designing and manufacturing the product, and bringing it to market.

MathMania and Money‐Smart Kids is a teaches math, money, and financial concepts by mixing cash vs. credit and lending vs. borrowing lessons and math STAR worksheets with fun projects, brain teaser contests, and physical activities designed to also exercise brain muscles. Dodge ball math anyone?

Almaden Academy is a local tutoring and college prep company established and run by local professionals, retired executives, moms, and teachers. The academy provides a variety of tutoring, classes, camps, and after school programs.

Almaden Academy camps are at Williams Elementary School August 1-5, 2011. The MathMania & Money-Smart kids camp is from 9am-12pm. The Funny Business camp is from 1-4pm. The price is $135 per camp. After camp care is also available from 4‐6pm.
