Stanford School of Medicine Offers Eating Disorder Seminar

The Stanford School of Medicine Eating Disorder Research Program will present a seminar on eating disorders in adolescents. The seminar will be at The Studio by Angi on Monday December 3, 2012 at 6:30pm. The topic of discussion will be: how to recognize signs and find solutions.

Leading experts from Stanford’s Department of Psychology will address the issues surrounding body image for both males and females. Specific points include:

Alliance in eating disorders
Eating disorders in both sexes
Cognitive deficits in eating disorders
Assessment and treatments

The panel will consist of three faculty speakers: Dr. Sarah Foresberg, Dr. Ali Darcy, and Dr. Kara Fitzpatrick. Seating is limited and an RSVP is required to attend. Please call (408) 997-8151 to reserve your spot today!
