Spring & Summer 2010 Activity Guide for Almaden Community Center – UPDATED 2022

Update on February 16, 2011: The Spring 2011 Activity Guide for Almaden Community Center is now available.

San Jose Parks Recreation & Neighborhood Services has released its City Wide Activity Guide for Spring & Summer 2010. The guide includes all of the activities planned for the Almaden Community Center.

Almaden Valley residents have a variety of activities to choose from, including the following: arts and crafts, camps, dance, early childhood recreation, education and enrichment, health and fitness, music, sports leagues and drop-ins, cooking, specialty programs, senior programs and events, and family events.

Registration for Spring & Summer 2010 activities begins on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 10am. View the most recent Almaden Community Center Activity Guide.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration for Seniors – UPDATED 2022

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration for seniors. Delicious lunch of corned beef & cabbage, potatoes, carrots, coffee and dessert. Entertainment will include lively Irish dancers and an Irish sing-along. Presented by Councilmember Nancy Pyle and the Almaden Senior Nutrition program. At the Almaden Community Center on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 12pm.

Tickets can be purchased on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 10am near the sports and fitness desk inside the Almaden Community Center. Tickets are $8 for members and $12 for non-members. Tickets are limited to two per person. [EVENT IS CLOSED]

Almaden Athletics Spring Break Basketball Camp – UPDATED 2022

BasketballAlmaden Athletics Spring Break Basketball Camp for boys and girls ages 8-13. The camp builds and improves a player’s skills and abilities in the areas of passing, shooting, rebounding, dribbling, play execution, and position playing. The instructor is Keno Carr, and supervisor is Lacee Kortsen. The camp will be held at the Almaden Community Center, April 12-16, 2010 from 9am-3pm. Price is $135 for residents and $139 for non residents. [EVENT IS CLOSED]
