Valentine’s Dance at Almaden Community CenterCalling all little Valentines and their grown-ups for a special Parent & Me Valentine’s Dance at Almaden Community Center!

Join this sweet evening of dancing, laughter, and special memories. Children and their favorite grownups – parents, grandparents, guardians, or caring adults – are invited to celebrate together in a fun and festive setting that includes a live DJ, refreshments, and a complimentary rose for each child!

When: Friday, February 6, 2026, 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Where: Almaden Community Center
Who: Ages 3 and up
Cost: $12 per person

Semi-formal attire encouraged.

Each person attending the Parent & Me Valentine’s Dance at Almaden Community Center must be registered, including adults.

Valentine’s Silent Disco Dance at the Almaden Community Center

Almaden Community Center Valentine's Silent Disco DanceRegister now for the Valentine’s Silent Disco Dance for older adults 50+ at the Almaden Community Center!

A silent disco is an event where participants dance while tuning into music through wireless headphones. Instead of traditional speakers, music is broadcasted via a radio transmitter, allowing dancers to choose from different music channels.

Most activities start in September, so register now!

In addition to fall classes, the Almaden Community Center 2024 Fall Activity Guide has registration information for 2024-2025 school year programs including San Jose Recreation Preschool and R.O.C.K. Afterschool. You can also register for Fall, Thanksgiving, and January Break Camps, as well as for Citywide Fitness programs for ages 14-55+, which include drop-in volleyball, basketball, and table tennis. Almaden Community Center Summer 2024 Activity Guide The Almaden Community Center Summer 2024 Activity Guide is now available, offering exciting classes, workshops, and dozens of summer camps! The guide has so many great options to choose from, for preschoolers through Active Adults 50+.

Summer 2024 season registration will open Saturday, May 4 at 10am. Early registration for scholarship eligible participants will be in person on Wednesday April 24 at 10am. Registration for Active Adult members will begin online and in person on Wednesday, May 1 at 10am. Spring registration and summer camp registration are currently open.
