Summer 2011 Junior Tennis Program at Almaden Country Club – UPDATED 2022

Nancy Ghantous Tennis is holding Junior Tennis Camp and Classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players this Summer. The program provides a positive and fun learning experience. Kids learn fundamentals and skills that last a lifetime.
The program is directed by USPTA / USPTR Tennis Professionals, Nancy Ghantous and a team of coaches. The program begins the week of June 6, 2011 and ends on August 12, 2011. You can sign-up your child for one or multiple weeks.
The program includes the following options:
Quick Start
Players are introduced to the game of tennis and develop eye-hand coordination. The equipment and courts are tailored to a child’s size and age so they develop their skills, learn rally, and have fun right from the start. For kids ages 6-10. Classes are held Monday-Friday, 9-10am. Price is $15 for 1 hour.
Strikers
This beginner-level program focuses on stroke refinement, and singles and doubles strategy and tactics in match play situation. For kids ages 6 and older. Classes are held Monday-Friday, 4-5pm. Price is $15 for 1 hour.
Smashers
This intermediate-level program focuses on stroke development, and tactics and match play. For kids ages 8 and older. Classes are held Monday-Wednesday, 5-6pm. Price is $15 for 1 hour.
Aces
This advanced-level program focuses on singles and doubles strategy and tactics, match play, and overall development as a tournament player. For kids ages 12 and older. Classes are held Monday-Wednesday, 6-7:30pm. Price is $20 for 1.5 hours.
Specialty Shots
This is an advanced-level program. For kids ages 12 and older. Classes are held on Friday, 5-6:30pm. Price is $20 for 1.5 hours.
Tennis Camp
Tennis camp for beginner and intermediate players. Classes are held Monday-Friday, 9-11am. Price is $35 for 2 hours.
