Rob Soul’s Kids & Chess Coming to Almaden Valley – UPDATED 2022
Rob Soul, from Kids & Chess, is offering free introductory chess classes for beginners in Almaden Valley.
Rob teaches beginning students of all ages with proven curriculum that features a high level of interactivity and emphasizes strong chess fundamentals.
He creates a fun and friendly environment while teaching key concepts like board vision and the importance of carefully and objectively weighing options on every move.
Chess helps promote intellectual growth and has been shown to improve academic performance! Chess develops critical thinking skills that help children succeed in their future endeavors.
Students who learn chess are able to use their chess skills to aid them succeed throughout their academic lives, resolve conflict, and objectively search for the best solution when faced with several choices.
Kids & Chess classes are at Almaden Branch Library every Thursday at 2pm starting July 7, 2011 and ending on August 18, 2011. You can enroll your child in person at the library or by calling 408-268-1133.
