Almaden Valley Athletic Club’s History Hike in Almaden Quicksilver County Park

Join Almaden Valley Athletic Club’s General Manager and professionally trained Wilderness Guide, Jeff Griffith-Jones, and AVAC’s Activities Director, Becky Smothermon, on a walk through the past in Quicksilver Park in beautiful New Almaden.

Jeff has extensive knowledge of Quicksilver Park and New Almaden that he would love to share with you. Meet at the Hacienda entrance to Quicksilver. This entrance is located in New Almaden across the road from the La Foret restaurant turn off.

The hike is Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 9-11am. The guided hike is free. Please bring water and wear sunscreen and bug spray. RSVP to Becky Smothermon by noon on Friday, September 14, 2012. Her contact information is 408-445-4919 or bsmothermon@avac.us.
