The float theme for this year’s 4th of July parade is “California.” The floats will be based on anything related to our beautiful state, including it’s history, parks, cities, products, sports, and so on. Registered floats include Goldrush, Hollywood, Wine Country, Sierra to the Sea, and more! The parade also features other 4th of July traditions, including pre-parade race, classic cars, Boy Scouts, and fire truck.

Each float will be judged and the winning float announced on the Montevideo Homeowners Association website. See the 2012 float winner and photos of last year’s parade.

The parade starts at Montevideo Clubhouse & Pool at 11:00am and winds through the Montevideo neighborhood. Following the parade, there will be a picnic at the clubhouse from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.
