First Annual / 2011 Navigating the Maze Forum in Almaden Valley
Visiting Angels San Jose is holding its first annual / 2011 “Navigating the Maze” forum. The event is for families and caregivers of seniors in Almaden Valley and the surrounding areas.
Visiting Angels is bringing together over 30 experts from the fields of Medicine, Law, Real Estate, Remodeling, and Finance to answer questions from the general public on the issues and practical side of aging.
There will be 3 rooms with breakout sessions where the attendees will be able to ask questions with the panel of experts in the areas of Environmental/Home, Financial/Legal, Body/Mind, and Community Based Resources addressing the concerns that are important to a senior’s well-being.
Visiting Angels representatives will be ready to answer questions concerning Long Term Care Insurance, Medicare, Home Remodeling, Family Counseling, Real Estate Downsizing, Reverse Mortgages, Exercise and Fitness, Physical Therapy, and Estate Planning and General Legal Issues.
There will also be a Community Room where all of the Professions / Panelists will have informative brochures and representatives available to answer any questions that weren’t covered in the breakout sessions.
A number of Non Profit Associations will also be present, including American Diabetes Association, The Stroke Foundation, American Cancer Society, Hospice of the Valley, The Alzheimer’s Association, and more.
