2011 Pioneer Day in New Almaden Quicksilver County Park

Pioneer Day offers fun for the whole family. Learn how the Pioneers lived back in the quicksilver mining heyday of the mid nineteenth century.

Festivities include entertainment, history, activities, children’s games, food, and speeches. This year’s Pioneer Day will also celebrate the opening of the new Outdoor Museum at New Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum.

Pioneer Day will be at the Hacienda Parking Lot in New Almaden Quicksilver County Park on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 11am to 3pm. Pioneer Day is sponsored by New Almaden Quicksilver County Park Association. The event is free for everyone.
