Almaden Valley Women’s Club is focused on stimulating interest in social, civic, and cultural improvement in the Almaden Valley community. All proceeds from the Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival are donated to non-profit organizations, local schools, and merit -based scholarship programs for local students.

The 35th Annual / 2011 Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival featured a wide variety artwork and hand-crafted items from local artists, wine and beer tasting, food booths, live music and entertainment, and children’s play area. This beautifully produced video features views of Almaden Lake Park, festival entertainers, booths and displays, and various recreational activities.

AVGSL offers a fun, positive environment for players to learn and expand their softball skills.
Throughout Santa Clara Valley non-native plant species are forcing out our native plants, in some cases drastically altering local ecosystems. Volunteers help us restore local habitat by removing these invasive species.
Assistance League of San Jose is holding its Floral Fantasy Fundraiser. This event features a brunch and flower design presentation by Kren Rasmussen, owner of Bloomster’s Floral Designs in Almaden Valley.
Almaden Senior Program is holding its Oktoberfest for Almaden Valley Seniors.
Oktoberfest is a celebration of great music, great food, and great friends! Entertainment will include a delightful accordionist.
