Almaden Valley Real Estate Market September 2024 – The September single family real estate market in Almaden Valley definitely favored sellers. Although the number of for sale listings was the same as August, the number of sold listings increased 50%. When compared to the same time last year, there was an increase in number of homes for sale and a 50% higher number of sold listings. Sellers were happy to see that the average sale price per square foot edged up from $945 in August to $987 in September, and up from $950 the same time last year.
Although the Almaden Valley real estate market favors sellers, now can be a great time to buy. During the holiday season, we tend to see a bit of a cooling trend. Les Misérables School Edition at Pioneer High School
Get your tickets now for Les Misérables School Edition at Pioneer High School! Pioneer High School’s Glue Factory along with the Advanced Drama will be presenting Les Misérables School Edition nightly from Oct. 23-26, 2024 at the Steve Dini Stage at Pioneer High School. Les Misérables School Edition is a version of the classic musical by Alain Boubil and Claude-Michel Schöneberg, based on the novel by Victor Hugo. The Glue Factory Players are a group of adults at Pioneer High School who put on a musical every October to raise money for the school’s drama program.
Reserved seating can be purchased online at phsdrama.ludus.com. General seating will be sold at the door each night starting at 6:30 pm.

All sales are final and will be considered a generous donation.

Almaden Community Center Harvest Festival 2024
It’s time for the Almaden Community Center 17th Annual Harvest Festival 2024! Celebrate local artists, enjoy tasty food, and have lots of fun with arts & crafts and more! Pick a pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch, get spooked in the Haunted House, and delight in story time with the library. Children are encouraged to come in costume. General admission and parking are free.

Almaden Valley Real Estate Market August 2024
August sales data for Almaden Valley single family homes is showing indications that we are sliding into our annual holiday market cool-off. The number of homes for sale and sold have dropped from July. The number of homes under contract HAS increased, but this is likely in large part due to inventory from June being absorbed by buyers.

A September to Remember
Enjoy music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s by musicians Sandi and Mike Bell. Wear clothes from those eras if you wish, and bring a photo of yourself from back then for display. Lunch includes spaghetti, lasagna, chicken, and antipasto. Peach Bellini’s and dessert included.

Almaden Community Center 2024 Fall Activity Guide
The Almaden Community Center 2024 Fall Activity Guide is now available! See what classes are being offered in Arts & Crafts, Dance, Education & Enrichment, and Sports. There are so many great options to pick from, for preschoolers through Active Adults 50+. Most activities start in September, so register now!
In addition to fall classes, the Almaden Community Center 2024 Fall Activity Guide has registration information for 2024-2025 school year programs including San Jose Recreation Preschool and R.O.C.K. Afterschool. You can also register for Fall, Thanksgiving, and January Break Camps, as well as for Citywide Fitness programs for ages 14-55+, which include drop-in volleyball, basketball, and table tennis. The guide also includes information about the Harvest Festival, Halloween Party, North Pole Party, and Breakfast with Santa!

Almaden Valley Real Estate Market July 2024 – July’s Almaden Valley single family home market experienced an upturn that we don’t generally see during the summer lull. Although the number of homes offered on the market dropped from June, which is usual for this time of year, the number of homes under contract and sold increased from June by 25% and 38% respectively, indicating that buyers are quite active this summer. The average price per square foot bumped up from $1,024 in June to $1,056 in July, supporting strong buyer interest during our usually slower time of the year.

Almaden Youth Basketball Registration 2024-25
Almaden Youth Basketball registration is open for Fall 2024 and Winter 2024-25 seasons. Fall registration started in July and tryouts begin in August for games played September-November. Tryouts are for registered players only. Winter registration opens in August for games played December-March.
