Almaden Quicksilver Park History Tour by Van

Almaden Quicksilver Park will be hosting a history tour by van on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 9am to 1:30pm. Adults and children (6 years and older, must weigh at least 60 pounds) alike will love the opportunity to step back in time and discover the area’s rich mining history on this tour.

Vans will embark from the Casa Grande in the New Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum and travel throughout the park to experience some of the historic sights. An experienced guide will provide commentary and answer questions along the way.

Participants in this event are asked to bring water, a sack lunch, and sun protection. Reservations are required, so please call (408) 918-7773 to ensure your spot on the van. The cost is $5 for children and adults.
