Nationally Recognized Author and Astronomer Speaking in Almaden Valley – UPDATED 2022

As a part of the Doris Dillon Author Series, author and astronomer, David Aguilar, will be giving a talk about the solar system and space science in Almaden Valley.

David is the author of 13 Planets: The Latest View of the Solar System and other space-themed nonfiction for elementary-school students.

Hicklebee’s bookstore will be onsite to sell David’s books. After the talk, David will be available for you to meet and to sign his books.

David is the Director of Public Affairs and Science Information at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Carol Rosen, reporter for Silicon Valley Community Newspapers, has a good article with more biographical information on David Aguilar.

This special event is at the Almaden Library and Community Center inside the Community Room. The talk is Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 7:00 to 8:30pm. This event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required. [EVENT IS CLOSED]
